Thank you to all of you who came out Saturday for our annual event. It was a great joy to see so many people come out and a be a part of this event. We enjoyed the music of UKoolLadies while eating delicious food from the Aikita food truck. The SJPD were out in full force handing out ice cream to everyone. We pulled in new members and gave away some great raffle items.
The kids painted pumpkins and had their faces painted.
Thank you to all the environmental groups who came out and represented as well as Council 10.

I know I speak for myself, Penny, Jennifer and Kathy when I say the California Native Plant Society Santa Clara Valley Chapter had a really successful and fun day. The Wildflower Ambassador seed giveaway was especially popular. We all talked to many people about native plants and and privuded information to further their projects.
This was our 2nd year being at Heart of the Park and we are already looking forward to next year. Not about native plants, but it was fun seeing all the dogs go by with their costumes. Thank you for inviting us. Barbara Hunt
