A Big Thank You to these Adopt-a-Park Folks

These 10th Graders from the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School, spent their Saturday morning cleaning up the brush and spreading mulch in Jeffrey Fontana Park.  What a hard-working group they were!  They cheerfully cut down scrub oaks and filled two truck loads full of trimmings that Parks Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) hauled away.  Thanks to Steve Cameron of PRNS for his Saturday help.  Thanks also to those Martin-Fontana Park Association members that helped, the Adopt-a-Park folks, and the PRNS staff from the City of San Jose that assisted with tools, refreshments and project management.  This was a real team effort.
