Hoping to prevent weed killer from being sprayed on several established shrubs and flowers in the area, a small group of volunteers donated their time on Sunday morning Mar 15th. Afraid that the upcoming spraying by park staff would drift over to them, and they too would be killed, a two foot diameter was cleared around each plant.
