Trees trimmed in Jeffrey Fontana Park

Here are photos of some of the trees trimmed in Jeffrey Fontana Park on the 24th of Jan.  The trimming was done for health, safety and appearance.  In addition,  these trees will now be safer from PG&E since their clearances from the high voltage lines were substantially increased.
MFPA  paid for most of the work with the City picking up a smaller portion. Thanks again to Peggy Rudd of San Jose’s Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services (PRNS) and former MFPA President Pier Maggiani who were instrumental in making this happen.  Thanks also to Pat Pizzo for help in meeting with the City and doing the field inventory and Larry Sasscer for the preparation of the inventory spreadsheet.
