Harvest Festival a Success

Thanks to Linda Wilson, Jean LaMarca, Pat & Sunny Wagstaff, the Green Team spent Saturday, Oct 23rd, displaying why those visiting the Harvest Festival should sign up and become members of the Martin-Fontana Parks Association.  A fire alarm during the morning had all of us moving out of the building while the fire department checked the source of the alarm.

Once that was taken care of, we proceeded to explain to our visitors all the reasons why they should join the Martin-Fontana Parks Association.

Tree 13 to be trimmed the week of 4-8 Oct.

Trimmed Tree 13

Update:  Tree 13 was trimmed on Thursday, the 7th of Oct.

Per a recent conversation with Don Hall, PG&E’s Executive Manager for Sales and Service.  Tree 13 is scheduled to be TRIMMED this coming week.  Kamran Rasheed, Manager of Vegetation Management, will be supervising the work and said that they will do their best to preserve  the tree’s shape.  Mr. Hall also said that they will do their best to protect Tree #13 for the long-term, as they realize how important this tree is to the Community.

Our thanks go out to the Community and the members of Martin-Fontana Parks Association for achieving this small, but important, victory.
